The First International Conference on Microbial Ecotoxicology will be held in Lyon (France) on November 21-24, 2017. Organized by the emerging Network of Microbial Ecotoxicology & the Rovaltain Foundation, the conference will focus on the main research advances on microbial ecotoxicology. The following topics will be addressed :
- Impact of pollutants on microbial functions
- Response of microorganisms to pollutants under multi-stress conditions
- Impact of pollutants on the interactions among micro- or between micro- and macro-organisms
- Microorganisms as a tool for a priori and a posteriori environmental risk assessment

Microbial Ecotoxicology is an emerging branch of Science at the crossroad between microbial ecology, microbial toxicology, ecotoxicology, physics and chemistry. It adresses an increasing demand from worldwide politics and society because of the threat on environmental and human health caused by intense anthropogenic activities. This event will gather for the first time microbial ecotoxicologists from around the world. World renowned keynote speakers from different countries such as USA, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal or Greece have already confirmed their participation (sessions and keynote speakers). EcotoxicoMic 2017 will be a unique opportunity to enlarge your network and present your activities to a large panel of scientists.
